An introduction to U.S. History in the Frameworks, the Massachusetts Department of Education guide to the History and Social Science MCAS, published Feb. 26, 2007 from the Massachusetts Department of Education. The guide offers sample multiple-choice and open-response items for the grade 5, grade 7, and high school history and social science tests as well as sample scoring rubrics and student work for each grade level tested.
