  • Accessing Inquiry for Student with Disabilities through Primary Sources. April 13 & 27 - Northampton. Laurie Risler & Rich Cairn. $65. Snacks, lunch, and all materials included. Hands-on, practical–exciting–course. Gain understanding of Disability History as you learn to support inquiry for all learners. REGISTER.
Optional 1 Westfield State University grad credit in History available for $125 extra fee. “Accessing Inquiry” courses meet Mass license renewal requirements for 15-hours PD on students with disabilities or 15-hours PD on English Learners.   • July 17-21 + 2-hours in fall, date TBD. “Teaching Civics, Civic Action, and American Ideals through Early 20th Century Black Struggles for Equality” - Easthampton High School. Hands-on course–also with Kelley Brown, Amilcar Shabazz, and Rich Cairn! Explore vital stories and context for civic action and explore strategies to teach Civics.
