New Primary Source Set - Immigration and WWI

Included in the following primary source set are a variety of materials pertaining to immigration from periods of time before, during and after WWI. Immigrants in the United States during this time were encouraged to offer their support in a variety of contexts. The first worldwide war (called the Great War at the time) roiled emotions for immigrants from countries all over the globe. The set offers recommendations for use and includes links to online exhibitions offered by the Library of Congress. Primary source selections include sheet music, posters, and newspaper articles.
