Civic Engagement in Any Subject: Integrating Local History Across the Curriculum - Northampton, Massachusetts - Stipends - Details & Registration
- Led by veteran civic engagement teacher, state and national leader, Catherine Glennon. Catherine and her peers at Mohawk Trail Regional High School completed projects in 2024. She will share their stories as well as a wealth of historical resources on Western Massachusetts, from local museums and libraries as well as the Library of Congress and other online collections. Engage students in projects to study and share the history and civic life of their communities.
- Full day February 18 at CES in beautiful downtown Northampton, Massachusetts - with 2-hour virtual follow-up in April, date TBD. Lunch provided.
Registration is $135 – though teachers will receive $300 stipends and be eligible for $300 for projects with students.
Now eligible for 1 graduate credit in history from Westfield State University. (For extra fee.)
